Incredible Design

The Chinese manufacturer has gone for a full glass body for the first time which has become the definition of premium this year. The appealing glass body makes the smartphone appear amazing bringing it in line with Apple’s iPhone X and Samsung’s Galaxy S9. The safety is regulated by Corning Gorilla Glass v5 front and back, denoting it won’t easily smash. The glossy phone feels like the most superior, polished, smooth and soft handset ever made till date. The device boasts a 3.5mm headphone jack, a notch at the top of the screen and a vertically aligned dual-lens camera setup at the back. The edges are tight which fabricates the phone look very pretty. OnePlus claims the phone to be water resistant but it doesn’t have a certified IP rating for the same. Under the rear camera setup is the Fingerprint sensor, which is now rectangular with a reduced size. (After all, it isn’t required over the amazing precision of the facial recognition.

Clear And Bright Display And Single Speaker

OnePlus 6 has a superb 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio which is exceptionally bright and impressive. The display comes with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 and an excellent colour balance technology. Talking about the speakers, the phone has a single down-firing speaker which leaves us a little disappointed because of the fact that it can be easily covered with our hands and we do not get the benefits of stereo dual speaker setup. But the sound quality is extremely great and the tones do not crackle at higher ends as well.

Astonishing Performance And Unbelievable Power

The Lowest costing model has 6GB of RAM where the most expensive one features 8GB of RAM paired with the latest chipset available in the market. In simple words, the phone is ridiculously fast and quick and can handle any amount of data with ease. Adreno 630 keeps the Gaming smooth and lag-free giving the user the best experience of mobile gaming. With all the high tech configurations and specifications, the phone is obviously one of the best performance-wise.

Great Battery And Better Camera

OnePlus 6 offers a 3300mAh Li-polymer battery that supports OnePlus’s TurboCharge and claims to give enough juice to the device in just 30 minutes of charge in order to run all day. The device has a dual camera- 20MP+16MP setup at the rear and a front facing 16MP sensor. The low light photography is improved by increasing the size of the lens in the rear providing better pictures in low light. The portrait mode is  better with the front camera sensor and also features the portrait mode. It supports slow-motion 480fps recording at 720p with a unique feature of capturing a full minute of slow-motion video that results in six minutes of video recorded.

The handset comes with latest Android Oreo 8.1 and is upgradable to Android P beta program. It also features OnePlus’s exclusive OxygenOS custom UI and gestures control navigation. While OxygenOS is much like Stock android, in the setting you can find some additional customization options. The gestures on the phone are slightly different from those on the iPhone X with the basic Gamin DnD software that was introduced in OnePlus 5T which prevents the notifications from appearing on the screen when a game is being played to avoid latency. The OxygenOS is one of the best custom UI because of its very low bloating and hence, not affecting the device’s performance too much.
