When the smartphone industry was hit by the selfie fever, almost every company started improvising selfie-focused models. Among the endless line-up of similar products, Vivo’s V series has proved its mettle throughout. The company’s latest product is the Vivo V11 Pro, a descendant to the Vivo V9. The first V series phone to flaunt an in-display fingerprint sensor, which was introduced on the Vivo X21. The Vivo V11 Pro is like a selfie-centric version of the X21, and apart from the fingerprint sensor, it sports parallel specifications as its higher-end sibling. Let’s talk more about the phone in the further sections.

VIVO PLAYS THE CARD PERFECTLY
The Vivo V11 Pro has quite a compact feel for a 6.4-inch screen phone. The body looks elegant, feels slim and is comfortable to hold and operate. The (almost) full-view facade with fine bezels adds an bewitching vibe. The ordinary USB port at the bottom feels peculiar; Type-C port should have been placed instead. The audio jack is placed at the bottom. As every time, Vivo packs a decent quality case and contains a durable pre-fixed plastic screen protector.

IT MAKES YOU FEEL LUCKY
The phone packs a good quality 6.4-inch AMOLED (19.5:9) screen with Full HD+ resolution with colors popping vividly which do not feel oddly oversaturated and, being AMOLED, the contrast is admirable. The maximum brightness isn’t as much as what you get on the best AMOLED screens, but that would mean being fussy at this price point. The phone works perfectly outdoors. The color temperature modification toggle is a convenient add on under display settings. One must keep it turned on at all times. Speaking of outdoor visibility, it is pretty good, especially with options like Always-on display making it much better.

The software is Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS along with Snapdragon 660 AIE which is a potent chipset and the subsequent performance can keep you glued to the phone all day. The V11 Pro contains a dedicated microSD card slot so that you do not have to choose between second SIM and expandable storage.
There is no DRM L1 certificate on the phone and hence you can’t stream content in HD resolution on Netflix and on Amazon Prime; Most of the phones in this budget don’t have this feature either. The software had scope for improvement, but after regular updates, it’s pretty cool for its price. There are also lots of customization options to avail from.
